FAQ

Where do the numbers come from?

Real eBay sold listings for used parts from the last 90 days, matched to the car's year range. Listings for other years, other models or heavy-duty versions are filtered out before prices are worked out.

How does the free trial work?

Tap "Start your 7-day free trial" and enter your email. You get 7 days of Pro on that email, no card needed, one trial per person. After 7 days Pro is $9.99/mo, or $79/yr (just $6.58/mo, save 34%); checkout is opening soon.

Is the estimated net a guarantee?

No. It's an estimate: the median sold price minus eBay fees and a shipping estimate, before what you pay at the yard. Prices move, and condition matters.

Do I need to download anything?

No. It runs in your phone's browser. Use "Add to Home Screen" and it opens like an app.

What does sell rate mean?

How many sold in the last 90 days divided by how many are listed right now. A high rate means buyers are taking them about as fast as they're listed.

Which junkyards are in it?

170+ self-serve yards across the US that post their inventory online. You can also search any car by hand, wherever you pull.

Is Salvage Sniper part of eBay?

No. It's an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
